Nigerian highlife-pop artist Flavour has a brand new famous fan in American R&B singer Keri Hilson. The award winning singer couldn’t hold back her excitement, tweeting lyrics to Flavor’s hit ‘Ashawo’: ‘Sawa Sawa Sawale, Sawa Sawa Sawale, ASSHHHHHH!! #nowplaying “Ashawo” Remix by Flavour. love thisss sonnnnng!!!’ A fan was kind enough to explain to the singer what the title of the song meant in English.

It’s no surprise Keri Hilson is getting familiar with Nigerian songs, as she is set to perform in Abuja at the ‘Face of Sofa’ pageant holding in November.
