Delta State commissioner of police, Mr Ikechukwu Aduba has revealed
that one of the most wanted kidnappers in the State, is a doctorate
degree (Ph.D) holder in Mechanical Engineering.

Aduba who made this disclosure while speaking in an interview in
Asaba, said the man (name witheld) hails from Kokori area in Ethiope
Local Government Area of the state, adding that the criminal had become a
thorn in the flesh, as he masterminded most of the abduction cases in
the state.
The commissioner also disclosed that over 300 kidnappers and robbers
had either been arrested or killed in the state since March.
Aduba lamented the refusal of victims to testify in court as the reasons some of the suspected kidnappers were acquitted.
