BREAKUP: Producer D’Tunes and Iyanya Part Ways, Focuses on Building New Label Difference Entertainment

Industry breakups is a way of life. Artists, labels, if you are in the music industry or any industry for that matter, get used to it. Breakups are not always a bad thing. In fact, they happen in good times too.
Have your legal agreements in place for the inevitable split ahead. Don’t get emotional about it and do shake hands when it is all said and done as you move on to your new life.
Last month, prolific hitmaker/producer D’Tunes launched his record label “Difference Entertainment” and even signed a few artists on. This month, he makes it official by leaving Iyanya’s MMG, at least as reported by TheNetng.com to focus on building his label. Needless to say, moving on does not preclude working together on future projects with your colleagues. So, be nice about moving on.

D’Tunes is credited for making three of Iyanya’s biggest hits off his second album ‘Iyanya Vs Desire‘ – the smash hit ‘Kukere‘, the follow up banger ‘Ur waist‘ and the third single ‘Flavour‘.
No reasons have been given by both camps but D’Tunes through his reps says he’s moving on to other tasks to accomplish as his work with MMMG is a glaring success. . .”
