Why Customers refused to board Aero Aircraft after buying ticket

Ever since the ugly incident that happened a few months back with DANA Airline where over 200 lives were claimed at Iju Ishaga area of Lagos, the fear of flying has since become the order of the day.
A while ago, a passenger who just returned from Calabar informed  “I just tried to board Calabar bound ticket holders on a Plane that has a bad engine. The Plane just arrived from Port Harcourt with the lucky passengers openly discussing how they escaped near death. On hearing the announcement to board the ill-destined craft, the responsible passengers ran back and pleaded with the soon-to-be victims not to board the Calabar bound craft. This is happening now 02/12/2012 as they had a turbulent time from Calabar to Lagos.”

On hearing this, all the passengers refused to board and asked or another aircraft to convey them to Lagos or have their money returned.
Well, I think it’s about time the appropriate authority looked into this matter for the sake of posterity.
