Kendrick reportedly slammed Drake in a freestyle rap verse at the BET Awards and called him ‘sensitive’ and made fun of his music. Do you think Kendrick was talking about Drake?
Kendrick Lamar and Drake may be at war. Kendrick, who started a ton of controversy when he called out several rappers on his “Control” verse, did it again at the BET Awards. The rapper zeroed in on Drake, whose new album, Nothing Was The Same, just dropped, and clearly dissed him during a cypher verse during the show.

Kendrick didn’t have to call Drake out by name, it was clear to everyone in the audience, exactly who he was talking about.
“Yeah … and nothing’s been the same since they dropped “Control” and tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes,” Kendrick raps. “Ha ha joke’s on you, high-five … I’m bulletproof, Your shit never penetrates, Pin the tail on the donkey, boy you been a fake.”
Wow, that is some pretty crazy stuff to say in front of all your peers!

But this isn’t the first time that Kendrick has dissed Drake. When Drake released his single “Control,” it caused a huge controversy in the rap community, because he called out every rapper in the book, including Drake.
In case you forgot, below is Kendrick’s verse that caused quite a stir:
“I’m usually homeboys with the same n****s i’m rhymin wit/But this is hip hop and them n****s should know what time it is/And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electron‘, Tyler, Mac Miller/I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you n****s/Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n****s.”
Wow, it would seem that Kendrick would want to make amends with the rappers he called out, but clearly he’s not worried about it. HollywoodLifers, do you think that Kendrick was talking about Drake?
