City People Entertainment Editor "Afolabi Oyekoya" Resigns After 10 Years and Buys over new website "www.windzmediaonline.com"
Its still very shocking and surprising, but believe me its true! Popular entertainment journalist and City People magazine's entertainment editor, Afolabi Oyekoya popularly called Afo City has just resigned after 10years of hardwork, loyalty and commitment .
He started his career as a showbiz reporter with city people 10years ago and called it quit on monday September 16 2013,few days after he returned from his round trip to Dubai and America. He recently celebrated his 10th year in journalism a couple of months back at Rumours Night club Ikeja.
News About Afo City's Exit from City People filtered the air Early this Morning When some of his former Colleagues Put up his picture as display picture on their BBM, with quotes like ... We will miss you , the best boss ever had and its been wonderful working with you... According to one of his former colleagues Afo City will be missed because he was not only dedicated to his job but was a strong pillar to city People entertainment and the organization as a whole. He was also said to be loved by other staff members because he was always there to support everyone and a funny man that loved to put a smile on people's face...
Afo City is yet to make an official statement and has refused to comment on his exit but sources close to him say he has a lot up his sleeves... He is said to have bought over a new online media called www.windzmediaonline.com which he hopes to relaunch in Nov 2013. he will also be opening a travel agency called "Nathan Travels and tour" and he is about to relaunch the popular monthly celebrity show called "Lockdown Nite With Naija Celebs" a monthly event he runs via his event management company (Been There Entertainment),
He remains Pasuma's manager , a fuji artiste he manages wit his company A021 Media and he's the brain behind the much anticipated event of the year tagged "Orobokibo 2013" an event that would celebrate 20years of Pasuma as a top flight fuji artiste on the 20th of October, 2013 alongside popular hip hop acts like sean tizzle, tiwa savage and others..
He remains one of the most popular and respected entertainment journalist in Nigeria. He however still has a good relationship with his boss who he regards his mentor and role model
