Here is an exclusive interview of fast rising music producer, Victoriouz Icon. Victoriouz Icon was discovered by rapper Cartiair (Owo ati swagga crooner) who introduced him to super music producer J. Sleek who immediately recruited him as his official studio engineer and he has since then being working with top acts like SauceKid, Davido, Wizkid, yung6ix, Terry tha Rapman, Cartiair to mention but a few. Meet Victoriouz Icon. 

1. Let's meet you

- I am Victor Angodi Egbekai a music producer and sound engineer from Delta state,born and raised in jos(jtown) currently based in lagos state nigeria.

2. Tell us about your family background
-
Am blessed with an awesome Family,my Dad's from Delta state ,mum's from Kwara state am actually closer to my mum(mummys handbag) am 2nd in a family of 5 2lovely sisters,2 awesome brothers.

3. Tell us about your educational
background

-primary education prince of peace academy
»St johns college jos for my secondary education finished up @ firstbaptist secondary school Jos then moved to Igbenedion university Okada
was a medical student.

4. Tell us about your musical background

- hmm the tori plenty oo(laughs)people dnt know this leme tell you!  my grandpa Mr Adedoyin(late) was a great Sound Engineer and my dad was an artist+ an instrumentalist during his days(late 60s) am sure I just inherited all that I learnt + know every single thing in music production/sound engineering I am a real jag of all trade confirmed master of all those who know me or have worked with me will tell you!

5. Tell us about your growing up and where you grew up

-Captain of the cool kids,Calm n soft Spoken am a Confirmed omo Yoruba, Tush Aboki + 1 handsome delta pikin(laughs) i grew up in Jos plateau state/Lagos Nigeria




7. What inspires your kind of music
and how would you define it-inspiration:
-
My Environment,My mood my definitionion: my sounds are  there is a way I tweek my frequencies it's not just like the normal stuffs u hear it's unic,different.

8. How would you rate and describe the success of your SwEet potato?-

10/10 song went Viral it's different not like the usual the beats did most of the talking,first time I'll see an unofficial single go this far Wizkid is Good,Very Good sweet potato is everywhere coments are awesome

9. You have had numerous production and working experiences with lots of artistes, which would you refer to as the most memorable?

-Waje and O.B.O(Davido) best session ever! The know I told them(smiles) I Still want to work with them over n over again great talents.

10. You have done a lot of production most of which are major songs, which would you refer to has your favourite and which artiste  would you say is your favourite to work with.

-am sorry am about to post a list not just 1 name Cartiair,Waje,Davido,WizKid,Yung6ix the list goes on.

11. You are close to Cartiair and j sleek, how would describe your relationship with them.-

I was cartiairs personal producer and was Jsleeks Sound Engineer Cartiair+Jsleek Believed in me when nobody did even my fellow Jtown. Peeps didn't believe in me the way Cartiair and Jsleek believed in me we were destined to meet we encouraged each other times when we were down,we picked on each other,laughed at each other,quarreled sometimes yelled (we're humans) we are not just colleagues but best of friends.

12. What is your fulfilment goal for the next couple of years

-there are so many Talents out there waiting for that push waiting for that angel the hustle is not easy for many I have been there I know how it is I'll sign up young talents and make music brands and Icons out of nothing by Godsgrace

13. What are you working on at the moment

--Plenty things oo  u can't predict my next move working on somethings I'll soon shock ya'll Again (lips sealed)

14. What other businesses do you do apart from music and entertainment?

- Music Producer + Sound Engineer

15. What does it takes to work with you?

- My managers Number is all it takes oo call him and errrm u know the rest #we cool
