This could be the beginning of the end of another era for the legendary Don Jazzy Clan. First was the end of the Don Jazzy & D'banj relationship that led to the end of the Mo'hits record era and gave birth to the Don Jazzy led Mavin Records with Dr Sid, D'prince, Tiwa Savage and Wande Coal. But sadly it all seems to be crashing once again. Here's the gist Don Jazzy is broke and can no longer take care of his responsibilities as the boss of Mavin records, thus Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage and even Dr Sid are now on a mass exodus out of Mavin. Here's the gist, for those who don't know, Don Jazzy closed his new night club on the island "PoP" because of financial issues which has now affected his record label. Early this week Don Jazzy went all proverbial when he took to his twitter handle to write ""Ronaldo port go Madrid, Saka port go Mtn, Rooney might port to arsenal. Then why is it a problem for artist to port if him contract finish?". With this he's definitely referring to an impending crack in the Mavin family. And as it stands,WindZMedia is pleased to be the first to tell you that Wande Coal would now fulfil his long term ambition of floating his own record label "Black Diamonds Entertainment" which has been in the works long before the extinction Mo'hits records. Tiwa Savage on the other hand, who never really signed a contract with Mavin Records, would now stick stick with her husband/manager "TeeBillz" at 323 entertainment where her album would be officially released next month. The ripple effect Tiwa Savage's exit also implies that her manager "TeeBillz" who doubles as D'Prince's manager would also exit the label and it leaves Don Jazzy and his kid brother D'prince all alone at Mavin because reports have it that Dr Sid is at the verge of putting pen to paper on a new deal with D'banj's "DB Records".
