PIC: Chris Brown and Rihanna Begin 2013 Together – In Bed

So much for leaving all the Chris Brown and Rihanna drama behind in 2012!

Judging from the photos they each posted to Instagram on Tuesday, the controversial couple spent the very first day of 2013 together. "Good morning! Still haven't slept lol #hello2013,"

Rihanna, 24, captioned a pic that showed her peeking out from a polka-dotted comforter. Brown, 23, wrote simply "Mornings" under an image he snapped of what looks to be the same comforter.

Breezy and RiRi's New Year's date is only the latest sign that they're back together after they split in the wake of his 2009 assault on her. The two were even more brazen on Christmas Day when RiRi tweeted a photo of them posing in front of a car, with her smoking a cigarette and him without a shirt under his jacket, along with the message, "Thug Life #merryChristmas." Festive, right? And just in case you still didn't get the picture, later that day they were spotted sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers' basketball game at L.A.'s Staples Center.

It looks like things are really off – at least for now – between Brown and Karrueche Tran, the woman he broke up with in October because he didn't want to hurt her over his "friendship" with Rihanna. Of course, Brown later admitted in a video that he was in a "love triangle" with Tran and the "Diamonds" singer. "Is there such a thing as loving two people? I don't know," Brown muses in the clip. "I don't know if that's possible but for me, I just ... I feel like that."
